01 Category-Grouped FAQ

Support answers tied to real Uxorin flows.

These answers cover the specific things members do in Uxorin: recording Cosplay Clips, using Shot Lists and Look Notes, managing Creator Profiles, reporting feed problems, and handling Gems purchases.

01. Clips and permissions

Why does Uxorin need camera access?

Camera access is used when you take a profile shot or record a new Cosplay Clip inside the app. If you skip camera permission, feed browsing and profile viewing still work, but in-app capture actions stay unavailable until camera access is enabled.

Why does Uxorin need microphone access?

Microphone access keeps live audio with a Cosplay Clip you record in Uxorin. The app does not need microphone permission to search the Session Feed, edit Shot Lists, or open Creator Profiles.

Why does Uxorin need access to my photos?

Photo library access lets you choose a cover shot, upload a saved clip, or reuse media already on your device for a new post. Uxorin only uses the media items you select.

02. Community and safety

How do I report inappropriate content in the Session Feed?

Open the post detail view, use the report action, and choose the reason that best matches the issue, such as harassment, impersonation, fraud, or unsafe session behavior. Reports help Uxorin review the post and related account activity.

Can I block or mute another creator?

Yes. Uxorin includes mute and block actions for creator profiles. Muting removes that creator's clips and profile updates from your normal flow, while blocking adds a stronger restriction for feed visibility and interaction.

03. Gems and purchases

How do I restore purchased Gems?

Gems are consumable credits, so they do not follow the same restore flow used for non-consumable purchases. If a completed top-up does not appear in your balance, reopen Uxorin, make sure you are in the same account state, and email support@uxorin.com with the subject Uxorin Gems Support plus your Apple receipt details.

What happens to unused Gems?

Unused Gems stay in your available balance until they are spent, the account is closed, or the 12-month validity period ends. Gems are non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, and may be removed if a purchase is refunded or reversed for fraud review.

04. Planning and profile tools

What are Shot Lists and Look Notes for?

Shot Lists help you break a session into named steps, while Look Notes hold the fast details that matter during prep, such as pose cues, prop setup, or meetup reminders. They are meant to keep capture planning close to the clip workflow, not in a separate app.

How do I change my profile photo or creator name?

Open your Creator Profile, move into the edit flow, and update the profile image or creator name there. If a save fails, check your media permission and network state first, then contact support with the subject Uxorin Account Help.
